A Majority of the Members of the Clan McCord Society (McCord Family Association) having voted, the voting was unanimous for the Election
in 2005 of the following as Officers of our Society for a 3-year term:
Mrs. Pamela Hagen- Vice President, Research Coordination
John C. H. (Jack) McCord- Vice-President, Internet Coordination
James McCord, President
Jack McCord, at the beginning of 2006, will be taking an extended leave and will be then inactive in his role as Vice-President. He will be carried on our Society's rolls during his absence as "Vice-President (On Extended Leave)". Jack will have no V-P responsibilities during that period. This procedure is customary in commercial and governmental organizations where one or more of its officers takes an extended leave for education, sabbatical, or other purposes, but has no official duties or responsibilities during that time. We will look forward to Jack's resuming active duties as Vice-President, Internet Coordination, on his return.
Jack McCord and Mrs. Pam Hagen have performed their duties superbly and we are most happy to see their election by our members. We also appreciate the kind comments about our Officers and Society which some of you have added in notes with your membership voting ballots. Thank you!

to announce that as of January 1, 2006 Murdo Ross has been
appointed to our list of Officers as Vice-President, Scotland. He has
done superb work for us in Scotland where he lives. He is an official
of the Government of Scotland. |
